Sojourners Alliance

Project:

Website Redesign

Role:

Web designer, UI/UX Researcher, Information Architect

Sojourners’ Alliance is a homeless shelter based out of Moscow, Idaho. “Bringing the pieces together” is  Sojourners’ Alliance motto and they truly live by the motto by their care of those in need.

In the Fall semester of 2019, I took a class called Usability and Interface Design where we worked with community partners to create a new websites for small local non-profits in the Pullman area.

Our group met with the owner of the homeless shelter throughout the semester to get a better idea of what he wanted out to the new website. Some of the big things that we added was a multi-payment donation system and a “Get Help’ section. Our group worked together create UI/UX research reports, a new information architecture, and new website design under structured guidelines given to us by our professor.
