Background
The Last Battle VR, is a project that I developed in collaboration with a Coeur d’Alene Tribal Member and the CDA Casino to provide a virtual cultural tourism event. This project aims to educate and raise awareness about the Battle of Tohotonimme, a significant event in the history of the Coeur d’Alene, Palouse, and Spokane Tribes.
The Last Battle VR offers a unique experience that allows users to immerse themselves in the story of the battle and learn about the history and culture of the Native American tribes involved. Through the use of virtual reality technology, users can explore notable places and aspects of the battle and witness the places where events took place.
As a developer, I was responsible for the creation of the virtual environment, designing the user interface, and implementing the interactive features of the project. This project was a great opportunity for me to showcase my skills in XR learning and contribute to preserving cultural heritage. I am proud to have been a part of this project and I look forward to its official release to the public. I believe that The Last Battle VR has the potential to educate and inspire a new generation to learn about and respect the history and culture of the Coeur d’Alene, Palouse, and Spokane Tribes.
